PRAYING

Praying for....

My Uncle Richard who is fighting cancer and in the middle of his chemo,

my family whose other side has suffered the tragic loss of a 3 year old boy,

Evan who will be undergoing surgery for a brain tumor on Monday,

Rachel who is fighting cystic fibrosis,

Evie whose story you can find here,

Sam's cousin's wife who has been given months to live,

and others whose stories aren't public.

Feeling overwhelmed today by the needs of so many of my family, friends, and acquaintances. I wouldn't begin to blog about the why of suffering. Wiser people than me have covered that. What I do know is that we do have One we can turn to...One who loves us...The One who fights for us everyday and has not forgotten us!!

"Don't be afraid, I've redeemed you. I've called your name. You're mine. When you're in over your head, I'll be there with you. When you're in rough waters, you will not go down. When you're between a rock and a hard place, it won't be a dead end—Because I am God, your personal God, The Holy of Israel, your Savior. I paid a huge price for you: all of Egypt, with rich Cush and Seba thrown in! That's how much you mean to me! That's how much I love you! I'd sell off the whole world to get you back, trade the creation just for you."
Isaiah 43:1-4, The Message

It is always sad to hear about so many serious problems. I'm glad the Lord knows all about it and glad we can turn to Him for every need.

Sherilyn, Thank you for your prayers. There are so many needs but God hears and knows. I am sorry about your Uncle Richard.
